Jen’s also shines with its grilled sandwiches—each sandwich is a comforting masterpiece, from the classic Reuben and Rachel to the Ultimate Grilled Cheese, oozing with melted goodness and served piping hot. The ambience at Jen’s 7th Ave. Cafe is warm and relaxed, perfectly suited for a leisurely morning meal or a casual meet-up. Despite initial impressions of an intimate space, the cafe comfortably accommodates up to around 100 guests, blending a communal diner energy with personal touches of attentive service. Guests frequently praise the staff's friendly and accommodating nature, with servers like Sarah standing out for their exceptional service and genuine hospitality.
Customer testimonials underscore the cafe’s reliability and consistent quality. Kevin Hass highlights how precisely his eggs over easy were cooked—a rare feat that speaks volumes about the kitchen’s dedication. Andrew Miller’s enthusiasm labels Jen’s as his “absolute favorite breakfast spot,” commending both the quality and price point, while DB Hall appreciates the hustle and attentiveness of the staff, who keep the restaurant running seamlessly. While not every dish will hit the mark perfectly for everyone, as noted by Cindy L’s constructive feedback on the chicken fried steak and French toast, the overall experience remains overwhelmingly positive, thanks to the welcoming environment and fresh offerings like the vibrant freshly squeezed orange juice.
Ultimately, Jen’s 7th Ave. Cafe is more than just a breakfast joint—it’s a community cornerstone where food is crafted with care, and every guest is treated like a valued friend. Whether you’re craving comforting pancakes adorned with marshmallows or a savory patty melt burger, this café invites you to savor moments of simple joy with every meal. If you find yourself in Prescott Valley, Jen’s is worth making your new breakfast tradition.
My server was amazing she was very nice. The other staff I encountered were all nice and accommodating. Very clean and relaxed environment, although it seems small it's not it's about average to hold about 100 guests I'm guessing. The food was amazing. I got 2 eggs over easy then came perfect, something that doesn't always happen at other places. Home fries were awesome. As for the brisket, that was the biggest and best brisket I have ever had. I will visit this place again the next time I'm in Prescott Valley.
This is my absolute favor breakfast spot in Prescott/Prescott Valley. A friend brought me here for my first experience and have suggested or invited many many friends to Jen's. I ordered the wipeout and as usual, the food was amazing. Reasonablely priced and I'm always pleasantly stuffed when I leave. Servers are always friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Been here many times. Over and over I continue to have a great experience every time I come. Thank you all for this amazing breakfast spot! I love it!
I wanted to give this place a five but I couldn’t. Chicken fried steak chopped up in the dish was way overcooked and tasted like the oil was old. My French toast had a skin on it and it made it very tough or it could just be the bread they are using, but I would not order that again. The service was fabulous by Sarah the place was clean and extremely popular. We will go back. we love the fresh orange juice. I WOULD RECOMMEND
Jen’s is a nice, clean restaurant, reminiscence of a local diner, yet contemporary at the same time. The first thing I noticed while waiting for a table is the outstanding staff. Each of them is serving the customer (and the business), cleaning, or bringing value to the business in some way. They are fast and efficient, always on the hustle. Our server was always scanning to see what be needed. She was extremely nice, polite, and customer-focussed. Every staff member I encountered was professional and accommodating. The restaurant was spotless, yet relaxed. With its combination of Americana, humor, and patriotic themes, the decor has effectively created an atmosphere that I find eye-catching and appealing. We arrived about an hour before closing, and the place was crowded. Yet, we waited only about 8 minutes for a table. We ordered from a menu that is well balanced and should accommodate most appetites. There is something for everyone. Our food came out in a reasonable time. My wife ordered the Catalina Omelette. This humongous omelette, the owner later informed us, is a 10-egg omelette! My wife took more than half of it home for lunch the next day. My wife exclaimed, “This is the best omelette I’ve ever had.” It was because it was not over-cook as most are typically dry, rather than moist. Being a retired chef, this bruised my ego a bit. I sampled her omelette and had to agree. The dish was flawlessly cooked and seasoned. It's also a big plus that Jen's offers a wonderful gluten-free bread-toast my wife said was delicious. I like spice. So, I ordered the Mexicano Scramble because I enjoy chorizo, guacamole , tortillas, and salsa. This dish did not disappoint. I requested a side of their salsa, and it was like what I make at home, but milder. So I was still a happy camper. I would readily recommend this to anyone. The service was so outstanding; we requested to speak with the owner, Jen. Jen is such an amazing person. She easily spent 10 or more minutes with us, sharing her experience with us. She has a devout respect for the tough business in which she works, and the hardworking staff that reports to her. Her leadership is reflected in the positive attitude of her staff. This is clear in the cheerful greetings, collaborative spirit, and willingness to go the extra mile that permeates the workplace. There is a palpable sense of mutual respect and support among colleagues. This positive atmosphere translates into higher levels of productivity, improved customer satisfaction, and a thriving business. I believe Jen’s ability to inspire, motivate, and empower her team is the cornerstone of her success. The most challenging part of my experience was deciding what to order off the menu. She offers so many of my favorite diner options. My wife last night commented, “I can’t wait to return to Jen’s.” Well done, Jen, and all your staff. We’ll see you soon. Debbie and David
We know, nothings perfect. But Jenn's is amazing. We told our server we were new to PV...he gave us a wonderful welcome and explained the menu. Made a few suggestions that were spot on. The portions were enough to share. The prices were just right and the atmosphere was bright and wonderful. We will be back! We made have found a new favorite. The signage was fun. We'll done!!
Hands down, Jens 7th Ave Café in Prescott was impressive. It’s a medium-sized, quiet café with a welcoming feel. I normally don’t write reviews unless a place is absolutely amazing—and this one truly deserves it. They checked every box, from overall quality to exceptional cleanliness (including the bathroom, which always matters). The servers and chefs were incredibly friendly and efficient, all while cranking out delicious, high-quality food. They even created exactly what I was craving: a hearty meat-and-veggie skillet topped with over-medium eggs and avocado. It was beautifully presented, and every bite was packed with flavor. The portions were generous and an excellent value for the price. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this café. We will absolutely be stopping here on every visit we make to Prescott.
Absolutely incredible. Atmosphere is great, makes you feel like you’re in a old town home (little bigger) and super comfortable. Biscuits and gravy are phenomenal. For those wondering the biscuits are massive. 4-5” x 4-5” and about 2-3” thick. Ham and sausage patties are wonderful. My wife got a Benedict which was equally as good. The home fries are insane. Peppers and onions in them, such a wonderful flavor. You can smell this place a you come down the road. Definitely stop here if you’re in Prescott. We even had the local police eating near us. You know it’s good when the local police make this their go to destination.
Very nice, clean restaurant! Remnant of a local diner with a laid back atmosphere. Outstanding, genuine staff with incredible food. Fast, efficient, and delicious!! My new favorite place in PV!
